“Stroll Along Treasured Landmarks “
Just like the setting of a mystery novel, the worn footpath and weathered shack at Dove Jetty holds its own history and charm.
Jelutong Fisherman’s Wharf, or Dove Jetty as it is popularly known, is a makeshift pier erected by fisherfolk to moor their boats and keep their nets, tanks and other fishing equipment. The jetty is believed to have been named after the Harmony Fly seagull sculpture along Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway.
Although the simple wooden structure is not the main tourist attraction, but it remains as a nostalgic landmark of the days gone by and serves as a tribute to the lives of the state’s fisherfolk.
A casual stroll here will give a chance to catch impressive views of the sunrise. It also makes an intriguing backdrop for your social media posts!
